Community based hospital located on the coast line of North Carolina. We are seeking a Pharmacist to perform both clinical and information systems functions. Responsibilities consist of dispensing medications in accordance with established standards, providing consultation to physicians and nurses, monitoring and assessing patient drug therapy including anticoagulant, kinetic, and renal dosing. As the Pharmacy Information Systems Analyst, this position is responsible supporting and maintaining pharmacy computerized applications and automation systems, coordinating and training new staff in computerized systems, developing policies and procedures for computerized systems, and serving as a liaison between the pharmacy and the Hospital Information Systems Department. Current systems include Meditech Client Server and Pyxis.
