Lancaster Community Hospital (LCH), a full service Community Hospital located just 60 miles outside of Los Angeles, California is presently seeking candidates for a Clinical Pharmacist position.
This is an ideal time to be a part of this growing institution. As Lancaster Community Hospital, in association with its parent company Universal Health Services is projected to open a new facility. Named Palmdale Regional Medical Center, it is located in Palmdale, California, which is 10 miles south of Lancaster. An adjacent medical office building is also under construction. This new facility (scheduled to open in February of 2010) will be a modern state of the art full service hospital offering services in Advanced Cardiac Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics, OB-GYN, Emergency Room Services and General Medicine. They will also strive to achieve Accreditation as a Primary Stroke Center and a Certified Chest Pain Center.
Sierra Staffing has been a leader for over 16 years in the area of Health System Pharmacy Recruitment. We have been retained by LCH to identify and evaluate candidates for the Clinical Pharmacy position. This individual will rotate between Pediatric and General Clinical Pharmacy Services. He/She will have a significant impact on patient care throughout the facility and will have the ability to influence the Drug Distribution Process and implement/modify policies and procedures especially as they relate to the pediatric services. The Pediatric unit will eventually consist of a Level II NICU with 6 bassinets and 8 pediatric dedicated beds in med/surg.
