Prestigious Academic Medical Center located in upstate New York is seeking candidates for an Administrative Pharmacy Opportunity:
The Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy to ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication use. This individual ensures the timely and accurate functioning of the unit dose and IV admixture services throughout the institution ensures strict compliance with the all professional, regulatory and institutional policies and procedures. The Manager trains and supervises the pharmacists within the department, and with the Technician Supervisor; collaborates with the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services in the development and implementation of educational programs, performance improvement initiatives, and staff development.
