The successful candidate will be a graduate of an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy. A related Masters or Doctoral Level Academic degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy degree is also required and completion of an accredited pharmacy residency is desirable. A minimum of six years of recent hospital/institutional experience with three to five years experience as a Director, Assistant Director or similar pharmacy management role is preferred. Candidates should also have documented ability to achieve targeted results in a complex, interdisciplinary environment, demonstrated problem-solving and project management abilities, and strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of excellent customer service and a focus on service excellence.

At this exciting time in our history, WMHS is seeking a Director who will be responsible for leading our Pharmacy Services. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and working collaboratively with other Regional Medical Center leaders, the Director is responsible for 38.5 FTEs and an operational budget of $27.5 million.
The Director is responsible for generating and implementing an operational plan with goals and objectives that are in alignment with the System’s strategic goals; achieving and enhancing customer and employee satisfaction; and managing all fiscal, material, and human resources.
