Description:	MANAGER, CLINICAL PHARMACY SERVICES
Skills Required:	Education B.S. PHARMACY or PHARM.D.Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy. Meets continuing education requirements of the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy. Experience Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Mississippi by the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy. Board certification in Pharmacotherapy desired. Must have two years of hospital pharmacy experience and working closely with physicians and/or Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee.
Details:	The Clinical Pharmacist Coordinator coordinates the provision of various aspects of patient-oriented pharmaceutical services, designs and implements appropriate clinical services, and develops staff to support clinical services. This employee must be knowledgeable and capable of performing any pharmaceutical duty in the Hospital Pharmacy Department and throughout the Hospital System; demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development; possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific needs; and be able and willing to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
